What’s the difference between a certified and a non certified life coach?
Training. The hands on experience (hundreds of hours in class and out in the world as a paid coach) that an International Coaches Federation (the oldest and largest governing body of professional coaches) accredited school demands as a prerequisite for taking the certification exam. I was certified by Coaches Training Institute (an accredited school) and by the International Coaches Federation Itself. Check out your coach’s background–make sure the coach was well trained and abides by the ICF code of ethics.
